My name is Drew Paquette, and I’m twenty years old. I was born in the small town of Atikokan, Ontario, and I moved to Saskatchewan when I was ten years old. I graduated from Weyburn Comprehensive School in June of 2016. While in Weyburn, I worked at both Pharmasave, and Tatagwa Kidz Kare. While working at TKK, I was an after-school EA and worked one-on-one with a child who has diverse needs. I also had a job as a tour coordinator at Weyburn Heritage Village in the summer of 2017/18!
I am in my second year of Education at the University of Regina. I major in English, which is something I am very passionate about. I minor in Inclusive Education, which I think is valuable for any teacher. Since volunteering in my high school’s FIP classroom and working as an EA after school, I have realized that I am also passionate in this area as well. I am excited to continue on my journey in this faculty.
